Supporting Myhigh.st shopping from the comfort of my armchair

In an age where we are spending more time and money online, our high streets and independent stores are struggling to find ways to keep trading.  I am as guilty as anyone and have opted to purchase the majority of my Christmas shopping online due to time constraints and the ease of sending gifts directly to the recipients.

Earlier this week I received an email about Myhigh.st which by just looking at the web address intrigued me.  The idea behind Myhigh.st is that you as the shopper still get the convenience of shopping online, with lots of things in one place, but at the same time you get the feel good factor of knowing that you are supporting small, independent businesses.

So after taking a little tour around the site I have managed to add a couple of items to my own Christmas wishlist...

Italian leather handbag from lily b of Cromer

Every woman needs a new handbag and an Italian leather handbag from lily b of Cromer for just £28.00 in a choice of five colours looks like a great bargain to me.  Something that will make me feel more me than carrying a changing bag!
cute hedgehog scarf from rococo gifts of stroud

I've recently found a love of scarves and with purple being my favourite colour I have fallen in love with this cute hedgehog scarf from rococo gifts of stroud.  Something that will not only keep me warm but much better looking that a boring black woollen scarf that I currently own.

Take a look for yourself, the range and quality is really impressive and they have loads of lovely foodie, craft and interiors stuff!
