Roo needed a blood test today and when I booked the appointment I did mention to the male receptionist that she would need the numbing cream, he advised that it would be taken care off at the appointment. I thought this a little strange but nevertheless I took the appointment card and left.
Anyway, arrived for appointment today the Phlebotomist asked if she had the cream on and I said no and asked if she could put some on... 'Sorry no, it takes 30-60minutes to work effectively' she answered. Oh no, so we decided to give it a go without...
Roo was an absolute star, I am so so proud of her. Not even a tear entered her eyes, no shouting or moving... truly amazing. She even decided to watch what was happening.
